SPR: Hypester Romance #5 Ch 2-111
I’ve said this before but apparently I haven’t learned my lesson yet. This strip is always better when Terry is around. Sure, sure, there’s a concern about too much of a good thing and the guy could potentially overstay his welcome. But he never fails to bring a smile to my face and we need to do a better job of keeping him a part of Sam’s life.

Short Pants Romance #86
The relationship between Sam and Terry is just fascinating to me, and probably my favorite thing about Short Pants. The old kook doesn’t pop up often enough, but when he does he always steals the scene and makes me want to write more strips with him in them.

To be perfectly honest, the idea of clones wasn’t immediately dismissed. My first thought was that Terry would scoff at the accusation of him cloning Sam, offended at the very idea. Then in the last panel we’d reveal he’d actually cloned Maurice and was using several ape copies of him to do work around his mansion. But the logic of it all (and what it would say about Terry) eventually trumped my deep desire for monkey butlers.
