I’ve said this before but apparently I haven’t learned my lesson yet. This strip is always better when Terry is around. Sure, sure, there’s a concern about too much of a good thing and the guy could potentially overstay his welcome. But he never fails to bring a smile to my face and we need to do a better job of keeping him a part of Sam’s life.

We wanted to do something special for our one hundredth strip, as well as pay homage to our first fallen character. We’re incredibly proud, not only of this image but of the 99 others that preceded it. Both of us wish to wholeheartedly thank everyone who’s helped us reach this milestone, first and foremost the family and friends we’ve neglected due to the time creating these strips requires. The love and understanding they’ve given us through the endless hours spent in front of a computer screen allows us to keep going. We’d also like to thank our comic cohorts at the Ohio Valley Artists League and every fellow web comic creator who’s given us feedback or a positive word of encouragement. And finally, we thank YOU, our loyal readers. Never doubt that we do it all for the Shorties!
But don’t think we’re anywhere near finished! With all the things we have planned, a hundred strips is just a drop in the bucket. You’ll definitely want to stick around to see where we go from here.
