So here are a few hints about the tangled backstory shared by Sam and Mindy. Obviously there were plenty of good times Sam still clings to, but enough hurt to leave the wounds tender even after all these years. And I’m sure the fact that Mindy’s so cool about it all and even better looking than he remembers doesn’t bother Sam in the slightest.
